Brazil approves rules for medical cannabis, Canadian cannabis giant steps in to US market and other weekly news

🇧🇷Brazil has approved regulations for cannabis-based medical products. However, the local pharmaceutical regulator Anvisa’s vote blocked the proposal to allow cannabis cultivation in Brazil. 

🇸🇬Singapore has allowed the first case for medical cannabis use as an exception for a young girl suffering from a form of drug-resistant epilepsy.

🇨🇦Canadian cannabis giant Canopy Growth has launched its hemp-based CBD brand, which marks the first official step of the company to the US market. CBD market is expected to reach $3 billion by 2022.
